Ulverstone is a small coastal fishing, tourist town on the north-west coast of Tasmania, Australia. It is situated at the mouth of the Leven River, on Bass Strait and is on the Bass Highway, 21 kilometres west of Devonport
and 12 kilometres east of Penguin. Ulverstone has a population of less than 10,000 people making it the state's largest town
as Kingston is a suburb of Hobart. The town is a part of the Central Coast Council.
