Penguin Caravan Park is located in the small
coastal town of Penguin on Tasmania’s north west coast,
between Burnie and Ulverstone.
Penguin Caravan Park is located on the beach and
has nice views over Bass Strait. There are five park cabins
accommodating up to 18 guests with each having an ensuite and
full cooking facilities plus television.
There are 20 powered
sites and 18 camp
sites.
The property also has a licensed restaurant, playground, and
laundry facilities.
Nearby you can watch penguins coming ashore at dusk to
feed their young and explore the many beautiful beaches, lush
farmlands, forests and mountains located just a short drive
away. Follow the bushwalking and
horse riding trails in the Dial Range behind the town. Dial Range
Reserve and Gunns Plains Caves are located just a short drive
minutes away. The alpine lakes and peaks of Cradle
Mountain National Park are
within easy driving distance, 15 minutes to Burnie and 20 minutes
to Devonport. In Penguin you can play golf, bowls, tennis
or skate at the skate board park all located close to the
caravan park.
