Bicheno is the gateway to Freycinet and Douglas Apsley National Parks, Bicheno and is just over 2 hours drive east of Launceston, or 175 kilometres. Within a five minute walk from this park you can enjoy swimming  in beautiful turquoise waters or relaxing on the sun-drenched white sand where you wil also find one of the East Coasts' most popular surf beaches. There are also coastal walking track that lead you around to The Gulch and Governors Island.
