ross caravan park central Tasmania

Ross is a small historic town mid-way between Hobart and Launceston. Ross Caravan Park, Heritage Cabins offers budget accommodation alongside the picturesque Ross Bridge and Macquarie River. Accommodation costs in cabins starts from low rates. Each cabin is equipped with a cook top, microwave, bar style refrigerator, heating, doonas, pillows and spare blankets. The cabins have access to the amenities block, located some 25 metres away. Ross Caravan Park has 20 powered sites, 20 unpowered sites all set within a fully grassed area and under shady trees next to the Macquarie River and only 1 minute walk to the delightful heritage village of Ross.

Enjoy delicious bread and scallop pies from one of the two bakeries or enjoy a hot or cold drink at the historic Man O’Ross Hotel. Pack your fishing line and catch a fish to cook on the coin-operated barbecue within the Ross Caravan Park itself or feed the ducks and swans that frequent the area. If you are lucky, you might even spot a shy platypus!
