Coles Bay, the hub of Tourism on Tasmania's east
coast, is a Australian town on the east Coast of Tasmania located
192 km, or app. 2hrs 20min drive north east of Hobart and 209
km or 2hrs 30min drive south east of Launceston.
Coles Bay is the main entrance point for visitors to the
Freycinet National Park. It has a population of less than 500
people including the surrounding area, but a large number of
tourists visit the area for its scenery and outdoor activities,
which include hiking, biking, fishing, boating and sea kayaking.
